Welcome to Citizens Advice Central Dorset

Citizens Advice is an independent service providing free, confidential and impartial advice to everybody regardless of race, gender, disability, sexuality, nationality, ethnicity, religion and belief. Our funding comes from a mixture of local authority funding and other sources which are listed on the office pages.

We are here to help and advise on a full range of issues and problems and we are impartial, independent, confidential and free.

Coronavirus Update

Citizens Advice continues to provide support to people in Dorset who need advice in these difficult times. Free, independent and confidential advice and information whatever your question.

Following advice from national government we previously made the decision to temporarily suspend all face to face advice provision.

Our offices in Dorchester, Gillingham, Sherborne and Weymouth & Portland have now reopened for face to face advice and help.

We are running a triage service alongside video call access to advisers, all within the government guidelines on social distancing.

We will keep this position under constant review.

For detailed information on how to access advice at this time please visit our Coronavirus Update page.
